Join Our Passionate Team as an Oral Health Therapist The Dental Group includes The Dental Lounge, Dental 99, and The Sydney Implant Institute. Our practices are committed to supporting our patients in their dental journeys, enhancing their overall health through innovative dental care and preventative measures.
As an Oral Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and education, delivering tailored dental care to our patients of all ages. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants to experience meaningful work where your skills truly make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and create individualised care plans
- Provide preventative dental services including fluoride applications, sealants, and dental hygiene treatment
- Educate patients and their families about oral health maintenance and preventative practices
- Collaborate with our dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations
About You
You are compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of patients through education and care. With a passion for oral health, you will be skilled in building rapport with patients and providing a comfort-focused experience.
Qualifications
- A degree or qualification in Oral Health Therapy or equivalent
- 2+ Years experience as an OHT in Australia or the UK
- Registration with the Dental Board of Australia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy for patients and an ability to create a supportive environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and education
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, including alternate Saturdays
