About the role

The Clinical Lead - Oral Health provides clinical leadership and professional support across the oral health program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality oral health care within a public dental environment.

This position dedicates three days per week to clinical service delivery and two days to leadership, education, workforce development, and service improvement. Please refer to the Position Description for more information.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional leadership and coaching to the Oral Health team to ensure safe, evidence based, high quality care

- Mentor and coach oral health practitioners, and supervise and support the senior dental assistants

- Drive efficient, client-centred care

- Foster innovation and partnerships that support research, evidence-based practice and service innovation

Requirements and Compliance

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination. Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement, in accordance with relevant health orders.
