Job Description

About the role:

Seymour College is seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Administrator to join our McGregor Campus (Junior Years). This is a pivotal role providing support to the Head of McGregor and ensuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day operations, student services, and community engagement.

This role works Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 3.30pm (35 hours) for 42 weeks of the year, commencing mid-January 2026. The key responsibilities are to:

- Provide high-level administrative support to the Head of McGregor and the Junior Years team.

- Manage calendars, meetings, room bookings, reports, policies, and compliance records.

- Assist with student services, including attendance, sign-in/out, first aid, and communication with families.

- Coordinate events, tours, and campus activities, liaising across multiple College teams.

- Support temporary relief teacher coordination across the Junior School.

- Deliver exceptional front-facing customer service to students, parents, carers, and staff.

- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience across the campus.

As the successful candidate, you will possess:

- Qualifications and/or extensive experience in business administration.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.

- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with staff, students, and families.

- Confidence working across a variety of systems and processes, with an eye for detail and continuous improvement.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
