Position Overview:
OUI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Project Manager to deliver critical infrastructure projects within the health sector. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise and clinical sensitivity, working closely with clinicians, IT teams, and administrators to implement technology solutions that support patient care and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, IT teams, and external vendors to align project goals with healthcare programme objectives and patient care priorities
- Ensure all projects meet Health Support Services regulations and compliance requirements
- Manage clinical risk, patient safety concerns, and change resistance in sensitive healthcare environments
- Oversee upgrades to hospital networks, VLANs, medical device connectivity, and facility remediation works
- Deliver clear and concise updates to executive sponsors, clinical leads, and governance boards
- Navigate high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions whilst maintaining focus on patient care workflows
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex technology implementations
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians and executives
- Manage shifting priorities, emergency escalations, and evolving health mandates

Role Requirements:

- Minimum 5+ years in project delivery, ideally within the health sector
- Demonstrated clinical sensitivity and respect for patient care workflows and clinical decision-making
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams under pressure
- Excellent communication abilities with capacity to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High level of adaptability and comfort with changing priorities
- Proven ability to manage risk and navigate change resistance in sensitive environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills

Technical Requirements:

- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project
- Understanding of VLAN configurations, HL7/FHIR protocols, and secure data exchange
- Familiarity with networking, Cisco deployments (Rack and Stack), and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards in healthcare settings
- Ability to interpret and analyse technical data
- Experience with medical device connectivity and hospital network infrastructure
- Understanding of healthcare governance and regulatory frameworks
