Your focus will include:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including HR, Community, Subcontracts, Procurement) to oversee and ensure direct and subcontractor compliance with Aboriginal Participation Plan project targets.
- Implement and manage the Aboriginal Participation Plan, including tracking and reporting key metrics.
- Offer expert advice and specialist support on Aboriginal engagement.
- Identify, engage and integrate capable Aboriginal Businesses into the project’s supply chain. Monitoring Indigenous procurement spend and providing monthly reporting data to the client.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with broader PLM project team to align with evolving project / program objectives.
- Support the design, development and implementation of the project’s Culture Awareness training program.
- Communicate and consult with local Aboriginal communities and stakeholder groups to foster Aboriginal participation across the PLM and subcontractor workforces.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Proven ability to deliver clear and effective verbal and written communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing work schedules, timelines, and resources to ensure project milestones are met.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both within a team environment and autonomously.
- Ambitious and driven to succeed in fast-paced and dynamic work settings.
