As a **Direct Sales Consultant**, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers. Answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, and guiding customers through the sign-up process. Your role will be key in delivering exceptional service, handling enquiries, and completing sales in line with all regulatory and compliance standards.**With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:*** Handle inbound sales and move-related calls with the goal of converting inquiries into successful customer acquisitions for Powershop.* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a consistently positive customer experience across all interactions.* Conduct outbound calls to complete partial sales and retain customers who are moving or considering leaving Powershop.* Execute retention strategies through proactive outreach to customers at risk of leaving, aiming to maintain loyalty and satisfaction.* Support special sales campaigns and initiatives as assigned, contributing to team-wide goals and performance.* Perform welcome calls for new customers and collaborate on achieving monthly individual and team targets.**Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:*** Proven experience in phone-based sales with a strong ability to close deals.* Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.* High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.* Strong teamwork orientation with a collaborative and proactive approach.* Understanding of energy industry sales regulations (preferred but not essential).**Why join our team**Every day, our people bring deep expertise, true innovation and investment to help our customers - and the world - reduce their environmental footprint.
