Overview

OO6/1 Supervisor - Maintenance & Upgrades HVAC • $61.64 per hour + super • Fully office based at Cannon Hill • Initial contract to 30 June 2026 (with potential for extension) • ASAP Start • QLD Government • Full-time, Monday to Friday

We're seeking a proactive and experienced Supervisor to manage mailbox operations supporting air conditioning replacement projects across schools in South East Queensland. This is a hands-on coordination role within a fast-paced government environment, offering the chance to drive outcomes and support infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage mailbox communications related to air conditioning system replacements.
- Prepare scopes, quotes, tenders, and cost estimates for mechanical/electrical works.
- Liaise with contractors, schools, and senior supervisors to track project status.
- Handle school and contractor correspondence, condition reports, and repair/replacement follow-ups.
- Monitor internal/external communications and ensure timely responses.
- Conduct value-for-money assessments and ensure documentation meets WHS standards.
- Maintain records, manuals, and procedures while contributing to process improvements.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and support performance tracking via KPIs.

What We're Looking For

- Proven supervisory experience.
- Strong computer skills, especially across Microsoft Office
- Experience within facilities/maintenance (highly desirable)
- Trade background in mechanical or electrical disciplines (highly desirable).
- Construction-related trade qualification (highly desirable).
- Current Blue Card or actively obtaining one.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
