About the Role

A well-established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a secure Defence infrastructure project involving roadworks and complex drainage systems.

Based on a restricted-access site in regional NSW, this role requires a professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in civil construction, particularly within government or Defence environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of civil works, with a primary focus on road construction and drainage.
- Manage subcontractors, internal teams, suppliers, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensure all works meet client specifications, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong communication with client-side stakeholders within a Defence environment.
- Lead WHS, environmental, and risk management processes in line with Defence protocols.

What You/'ll Bring

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil infrastructure, ideally within Defence or government projects.
- Technical expertise in roadworks and drainage systems.
- Strong commercial and contract management skills.
- Ability to manage complex logistics, documentation, and compliance on secure sites.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia and able to obtain Defence clearance.
- White Card and current driver/'s licence required.
