Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information

Turramurra Public School, with an enrolment of 530 students, is committed to providing excellent literacy and numeracy programs, complemented by a variety of engaging extracurricular activities. Specific Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach special education and / or experience teaching students with Autism, Mild and Moderate Intellectual disabilities.

- Proven ability to collaboratively develop, maintain, and review Individual Education and Behaviour Support Plans, using data to deliver differentiated literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing programs in partnership with students, staff, parents, and allied health professionals to maximise student success.

- Demonstrated exceptional and adaptable classroom management skills that actively improve student engagement and wellbeing by implementing targeted strategies to address students’ diverse communication, behavioural, sensory, social, and emotional needs, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
