We invite applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Multi-Disciplinary Technician to join our St Catherine Campus. This role plays a key part in creating safe, well-resourced environments that support practical learning across Science, Visual Arts, and Materials Technology, enabling students to engage confidently in hands-on activities. About the role The Multi-Disciplinary Technician will - Prepare and maintain resources, equipment, and materials for practical lessons. - Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, risk assessments, and safety documentation. - Assist teachers during practical activities and supporting students as required. - Manage stock, inventory, and equipment maintenance across all faculties. - Support the documentation and display of student work for exhibitions, competitions, and classroom displays. - Other duties as required in line with operational needs and the employee’s skills. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position commencing on 19 January 2026, primarily based at St Catherine Campus, with potential duties at other campuses as required. Skills and experience The successful candidate will demonstrate: - Relevant qualifications and/or experience in laboratory, art, or workshop support, ideally within an educational setting. - Understanding of WHS obligations and safe handling of chemicals, machinery, and hazardous materials. - Ability to work with diverse materials, tools, and equipment, including 3D printers. - Strong ICT, organisational, planning, and documentation skills. - High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. - Flexibility, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and Catholic values. - Optimism, and enthusiasm for student learning and school community engagement. - Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
