About the role Kolbe Catholic College is a dynamic and expanding learning community, guided by our vision, "Everyone Grows." We invite applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Multi-Disciplinary Technician to join our St Catherine Campus. This role plays a key part in creating safe, well-resourced environments that support practical learning across Science, Visual Arts, and MaterialsTechnology, enabling students to engage confidently in hands‑on activities. - Prepare and maintain resources, equipment, and materials for practical lessons. - Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, risk assessments, and safety documentation. - Assist teachers during practical activities and supporting students as required. - Manage stock, inventory, and equipment maintenance across all faculties. - Support the documentation and display of student work for exhibitions, competitions, and classroom displays. - Other duties as required in line with operational needs and the employee’s skills. This is a part‑time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position commencing on 19 January 2026, primarily based at St Catherine Campus, with potential duties at other campuses as required. Skills and experience - Relevant qualifications and/or experience in laboratory, art, or workshop support, ideally within an educational setting. - Understanding of WHS obligations and safe handling of chemicals, machinery, and hazardous materials. - Ability to work with diverse materials, tools, and equipment, including 3D printers. - Strong ICT, organisational, planning, and documentation skills. - High‑level interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. - Flexibility, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and Catholic values. - Optimism, and enthusiasm for student learning and school community engagement. - Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
