As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital services at the DTMI. You’ll work closely with business users to understand their needs, redesign processes, and define solution requirements that support strategic goals.

You’ll be involved in exciting, high-impact projects such as:

- TRELIS – a transformative initiative for transport systems
- Digital Driver’s Licence – modernising identity verification
- Legacy System Modernisation – migrating to cloud-based platforms

What You/'ll Do

- Lead workshops and facilitate stakeholder engagement across business areas
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Collaborate with development teams to design innovative solutions
- Create use cases, documentation, and training materials
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to strategic planning

This recruitment process is intended to establish a pool of suitable candidates for current opportunities, as well as for similar fixed-term and permanent positions that are expected to arise within the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure over the next 12 months from the date of first appointment. There is a strong expectation of ongoing opportunities becoming available, and applicants placed in the pool will be actively considered for these future vacancies as they arise.

- Extroverted and communicative – experience running workshops and strong stakeholder skills
- Analytical and logical – able to break down complex problems
- Detail-oriented – ensures accuracy in documentation and analysis
- Tech-savvy – understands how technology can drive business outcomes
- Experienced – with Agile methodologies and large-scale application design
