**Company :**Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd**About the Role**Sime Industrial is seeking an experienced Compliance & Quality Specialist to join our Group Safety function on a permanent fulltime time position in Acacia Ridge, QLD.This position will operate at Group international level and will be responsible for managing HSE audits and assurance programs across Australasia.**Key responsibilities**Reporting to the *Executive Manager - Systems, Risks, Assurances & Training* , in this position, you will:* Evaluate compliance with internal standards, legal obligations, and certification requirements (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001), with a focus on high-risk operations.* Support the design and continuous improvement of audit and compliance programs aligned with the Group’s HSE strategy.* Conduct audits and provide insights to senior leadership on systemic issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to coordinate audit activities, ensure certification readiness, and align expectations.* Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to policy, process, and control enhancements.* Travel across Australasia and internationally as required to deliver regional and group-level assurance programs.With a strong presence in the industrial, motors, aerospace, insurance and logistics sectors, Sime is the partner of choice for globally renowned brands like BMW, Volvo, Porsche, Jaguar, and Caterpillar.Operating in 18 countries across Asia Pacific for over 100 years, we continue to grow through operational excellence, sustainability, and high-performance standards.**The Benefits*** Tailored training, mentorship, and career development.* Competitive remuneration and annual reviews.* A collaborative, diverse, and inclusive global team.* National and international growth opportunities.* Mental, physical, and financial wellbeing support (EAP, health checks, private health discounts).* Employee rewards, paid parental leave, and salary continuance insurance.**About You**A successful applicant will have experience in:* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HSE compliance, audit, or quality assurance within a complex, multi-site or regulated environment.* A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.* Certified Lead Auditor (or Auditor) qualifications in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001* Proficiency in audit management platforms and data reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.* Strong knowledge of legislative compliance, risk-based auditing, non-conformance and corrective action management.* Demonstrated experience in leading or supporting both internal and third-party audit programs.* A willingness and ability to travel across Australasia and internationally.**To Apply:** Hit the **‘Apply Now’** button**Enquiries:** Please call 1300 071 618**Contact Person:** Victoria Faure-Evrard – Senior Talent Acquisition Partner | victoria.faure-evrard@hastingsdeering.com.au
