Overview

Global Head of Sourcing and Procurement

Do you have a passion for leading diverse Sourcing and Procurement teams and have experience working for a growing FMCG Organisation supported by a complex network of 3rd party contract manufacturers?

My client is looking for an inspirational Global Head of Sourcing & Procurement who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment and can juggle numerous priorities at once to support the organisation through a significant period of growth, transformation and change.

This role requires next level sourcing, supplier relationship management and negotiation skills within an FMCG environment, ensuring the optimum strategic terms are achieved for all parties.

Responsibilities

- Drive the development of a world-class global procurement strategy, balancing cost, quality, and innovation.

- Manage and onboard 3rd party contract manufacturers and suppliers, building a robust and diversified supply base.

- Construct and negotiate optimal contractual frameworks tailored to product classes and sourcing strategies.

- Deliver COGS improvements, continuity of supply and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard growth.

- Provide razor-sharp cost modelling and budget management, ensuring maximum value across the global supply chain.

- Partner cross-functionally with product and commercial teams to ensure seamless new product development and reformulations.

Qualifications

- Strategic, results-driven procurement leadership with deep FMCG experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.

- Proven expertise in direct spend management and product development principles.

- Strong background in FMCG sourcing and procurement, ideally within beauty, personal care, or consumer health.

- A track record in negotiating contracts and managing suppliers/CMOs across international markets.

- Commercial acumen in budget ownership, COGS optimisation, and cost modelling.

- The ability to build influential cross-functional relationships and lead with tenacity, accountability, and collaboration.
