We’ve continually refined, transformed, and perfected our approach to our business, creating a language that has become standard in our industry, for our customers, and even our competitors. By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.

About Domain

Domain is a leading property technology and services marketplace that is home to one of the largest portfolios of property brands in Australia, including the Domain, Allhomes and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) platforms. In 2025, Domain became part of CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP), a global leader in commercial real estate information, analytics, online marketplaces and 3D digital twin technology. Together, Domain and CoStar Group is dedicated to digitising the world’s real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights, and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

At Domain, we believe great design is more than aesthetics – it/'s the bridge between strategy and experience. As our new Head of Product Design, you’ll lead a high-performing team to craft intuitive, human-centred solutions that drive real impact for millions of Australians. If you’re a visionary design leader who thrives on turning bold ideas into meaningful experiences, this could be your next move.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Head of Product Design is a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of product, technology, data, and strategy. You/'ll define and drive the design vision across our diverse product ecosystem, from Residential to Commercial and our growing suite of SaaS offerings.

You’ll lead and grow a talented team of Product Designers, instilling a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and user-first thinking. With your leadership, design will not just shape what we build, but how we build it.

What you'll be doing

- Bring the vision to life: Champion a clear, strategic design vision that aligns with business goals and enhances user engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Design at Scale: Ensure a consistent, accessible, and high-performing experience across platforms, backed by scalable design systems.
- Drive Outcomes: Measure and optimise the impact of design through user satisfaction, adoption, and business KPIs.
- Collaborate Deeply: Embed design thinking into every stage of product development alongside Product, Engineering, Marketing and Research.
- Grow the Team: Foster a high-performing, inclusive design culture with clear career paths, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What Success Looks Like

- A cohesive and consistent user experience across all products, even under complexity or scale.
- Design embedded into cross-functional ways of working, influencing product discovery and roadmaps.
- A strong, empowered team of Designers and Managers doing the best work of their careers.
- Business results that reflect design’s value: better engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

What we are looking for

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years in product design (UX/UI), including 5+ years in a design leadership role.
- A strong portfolio that reflects user-centred, data-informed design solutions across complex products.
- Experience in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep knowledge of design systems and scalable design practices.
- A passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong influencing skills: you/'re seen as a strategic partner, not just a service function.

Why join us?

We’re the kind of place you can make a real impact, with a workplace culture where you can be you. It’s a fun, safe space where you’ll always feel you belong. Perks of the role include:

- Hybrid working;
- First-rate parental leave;
- Continuous opportunities to leap, learn and grow in a team that values creativity and innovation;

We don’t just talk, we do. Every day we solve property problems for Australians and beyond. We encourage our people to see the possibilities, and turn them into realities.

What’s next? We/'ll give your application the thoughtful attention it deserves and get back to you as soon as possible. If there/'s a match, one of our recruitment consultants will reach out so keep your phone handy We/'re genuinely excited about the chance to work together and make a meaningful impact.
