About the Role
As Branch Manager – OT & Cybersecurity, you’ll lead a high-performing national team of engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and technical experts. You’ll drive strategic growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver secure, resilient solutions across a wide range of industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the national roadmap for OT & Cybersecurity, aligned with company strategy and market trends.
- Commercial Management: Own budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Drive profitability and manage risk.
- Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships, support technical solution design, and represent Alliance Automation across industry forums.
- Team Development: Mentor and support multidisciplinary teams across engineering, cybersecurity, and project delivery.
- Innovation & Technology: Identify emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Compliance & Safety: Champion cybersecurity frameworks and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Culture & Values: Foster a workplace culture built on accountability, care, and innovation.
What You Bring
We’re seeking a strategic, commercially minded leader with deep expertise in operational technology and cybersecurity who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years’ experience in leading OT, industrial automation, or cybersecurity.
- Proven senior leadership experience in complex industrial environments.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership and risk mitigation expertise.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- C Class Driver’s Licence.
Desirable Attributes:
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP).
- Experience in multi-site or national organisations.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
