Learning and Development Facilitator - Northampton Avery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care, with over 100 homes and a shared vision of "creating meaningful lives together." They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Learning and Development Facilitator to join their team in Northampton on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week across their homes in the area. Main duties of the job As a Learning and Development Facilitator, you will play a key role in empowering Avery's teams to deliver outstanding care. You will lead engaging training sessions across a cluster of homes, helping ensure their people are confident, competent, and compliant. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality training on statutory and mandatory topics, identifying learning needs, designing and facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, and supporting both face-to-face and virtual learning experiences. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Learning and Development Facilitator, youll play a key role in empowering our teams to deliver outstanding care. Youll lead engaging training sessions across a cluster of homes, helping ensure our people are confident, competent, and compliant. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering high-quality training on statutory and mandatory topics - Identifying learning needs using our Learning Management System (LMS) - Designing and facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses - Supporting both face-to-face and virtual learning experiences - Assessing learner understanding and confidence throughout sessions ABOUT YOU Youre someone who lives our values caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable and brings a genuine passion for adult social care and learning. - Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector - Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above) - Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements - A commitment to inclusive learning, including neurodiversity - A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it) - A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport WHY AVERY? Person Specification Qualifications - You should have experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector, relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above), knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements, a commitment to inclusive learning, and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it). A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are also required.
