The Planetary Healing Artists Association is a not for profit organisation based in Albert Park, working largely with the community of the City of Port Phillip and wider community. Membership extends throughout Melbourne with some members also living internationally. Planetary Healing Artists' Association of Australia hold annual inclusive art exhibitions and events in the community with the aim of healing the community and promoting world peace for the well-being of all. Mission Statement:"Planetary Healing Artists Association of Australia Inc.'s key purpose is to encourage creativity through art and performance, sharing the spirit of peace and harmony.We achieve this by organising cultural and community exhibitions and events which nurture greater social unity. We are committed to heal and protect our planet and all of its inhabitants" Duties and Responsibilities: - Tasks include planning and conceptualising exhibitions monthly or bi-monthly - Curate and facilitate the setting up and hanging of paintings for the exhibition with the exhibiting artist - Guide where appropriate the exhibiting artist to write an artist statement, an exhibition flyer and price works - Helping the artist to organise an exhibition opening if they choose to do so - Finding and resourcing artists to exhibit. - Marketing, developing relationships with artists and clients Suitable for Skilled Volunteers Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Training As required Time required 2 hours per week either at our office or remotely. #J-18808-Ljbffr
