About the role This diverse and interesting role supports young people andtheir families in our Reconnect Program experiencing complexchallenges such as offending behaviour, mental health concerns,family conflict, school disengagement and a risk ofhomelessness. Maintain an active caseload and provide one to one interventionsand/or group activities based on service user needs and goalsthrough intensive therapeutic interventions in line with TraumaInformed Practice Principles. You’ll participate in andsupport ongoing quality and practice improvement, participate inand lead community forums, reference groups and projects andmaintain networks with relevant stakeholders. About you You’ll have a drive to support young people and theirfamilies using an evidence based, person centred approach.You’ll have experience and knowledge working with diversecultures and communities and have strong relationship buildingskills to develop or maintain networks. In addition, you will also possess: - Tertiary degree qualifications within the CommunityServices Sector are preferred but not required - Experience working with youth and families who are at riskor are presenting complex issues - Ability to communicate effectively in complex and escalatedsituations - Solid administrative, record and case managementdocumentation skills - Ability to be innovative, flexible and work autonomouslywhere required - Drivers Licence - Working with Children Check - National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths) About the benefits You'll become part of an inclusive, diverse, and welcomingWestern Australian organisation passionately committed to making ameaningful impact in the local community.
