About the role:
Join Origin’s Retail Data & Analytics team as an ETL Developer, whereyou’ll play a key role in shaping how we harness data to drive smarter business decisions.
You’ll design and build scalable data solutions that power critical reporting, analytics, and customer applications—all within a modern, cloud‑based environment.

Design, build, and test data transformation jobs across large and complex data sets.
Develop and maintain scalable data models that support business‑critical processes.
Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
Review and optimize ETL processes, ensuring best practice and performance efficiency.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including business requirements and test cases.
Contribute to the design and improvement of Origin’s centralised cloud data platform.
Support a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and diversity within the data community.
Skills & Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on SQL experience, preferably with PostgreSQL or Redshift.
Solid understanding of database design, schema optimisation, and performance tuning.
Experience building and orchestrating ETL pipelines with strong error handling practices.
Skilled in documenting ETL processes and data models, including entity‑relationship diagrams.
Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data challenges and delivering business insights.
