This is for Permanent Full - Time/Part -Time appointment/s.

Currently we are seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our team. The successful applicant/s will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients and facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care.

CCU is responsible for the care of critically acute and chronic cardiac patients who require both medical and interventional management involving but not limited to vasoactive treatment, non-invasive ventilation, intra-aortic balloon pumps and a range of extensive interventional procedures. We are the state centre for Advance Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant services which sees the care of patients pre and post cardiac transplantation and long term mechanical circulatory support.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.
