Position Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process for both blue-collar and white-collar positions across the Brooklyn site, ensuring we attract and retain top talent across all levels. You will also lead and manage the recruitment efforts for the Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS). This is a fast-paced, high-volume role within the FMCG industry, requiring you to lead a team of 5-6 while working closely with key business leaders to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar, white-collar, and Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) positions at the Brooklyn site.
2. Develop and implement recruitment strategies for industrial, commercial, and administrative roles.
3. Manage and mentor a team of 5-6.
4. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align recruitment with business needs.
5. Represent JBS at job fairs and industry events to enhance employer branding.
6. Oversee high-volume recruitment campaigns using various sourcing methods.
7. Manage the recruitment process, ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance with pre-employment requirements.
8. Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
9. Report on recruitment performance and recommend improvements.
10. Drive initiatives to establish JBS as an employer of choice.
Qualifications
You will also "bring to the table":
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in talent acquisition, with a strong background in recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar positions.
2. Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment within the FMCG sector.
3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a recruitment team of 5-6 people.
4. In-depth knowledge and experience managing the Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) or similar international recruitment programs.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, & interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
7. Strong expertise in various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, recruitment agencies, and direct outreach.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
9. A proactive, flexible, and solutions-driven approach to solving recruitment challenges.
10. A genuine passion for working with people and promoting JBS's values and culture.
