Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator to join and support Harrier's talent team onsite at Newmont, the world's largest gold miner.

The Harrier onsite talent team at Newmont are passionate, driven and work together to ensure we deliver a seamless, high touch TA process, with exceptional candidate care and customer focus.

As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will support, collaborate and work with the rest of our team in TA administration and project coordination. You will become a subject matter expert in our systems and processes, manage all background checks, contract generation and ad-hoc recruitment projects. This role will focus heavily on supporting and coordinating expat recruitment and international relocation for Senior level appointments as well as White collar and Technical positions for our customer's overseas operations.

Flexibility is promoted at Harrier and our customers also embrace this; with most of the TA team choosing to work in a hybrid environment with 2 days onsite at our customer's office in Melbourne.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience operating as an end-to-end Talent Acquisition Coordinator, preferably within heavy industry and complex multi-site operations
  • Prior experience working with international mobility teams, supporting and facilitating overseas recruitment
  • Ability to manage Senior candidates effectively through the offer process with a focus on providing the highest level of candidate experience
  • Effective communication to liaise with candidates from a variety of backgrounds and seniority levels
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels of the business and instil confidence
  • Work collaboratively yet autonomously and demonstrate initiative and a problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail in all administrative duties such as pre-employment checks and contract generation, reporting and onboarding
  • Experience supporting with contractor conversions and managing the end-to-end process
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors is advantageous and strong Excel capability is essential
