The opportunity

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a critical role in helping us attract, engage, and retain talent within Operational Head Office roles across Health Insurance and Health Services. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers and team leaders to understand their hiring needs, develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, and build strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract and you can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with hybrid work arrangements available.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Provide seamless end-to-end talent acquisition, ensuring the attraction and recruitment of quality people for Bupa. Duties including taking a job brief, writing and posting job ads, screening, identifying candidates for talent pools, interviewing, background checking, providing candidate and hiring manager feedback and the full back end (offers, contract generation and onboarding)
  • Adopt a proactive approach to talent acquisition, including but not limited to LinkedIn Proactive Sourcing, Seek Talent Search, leveraging talent pools and talent pipelines, referral networks, and many more
  • Partnering with line managers and other internal customers, educating to ensure that the talent acquisition process is known, respected and utilised.
  • Managing candidates in our ATS Avature and always ensuring candidates are updated in a timely manner.
  • Compilation, analysis and communication of data for the purpose or reporting and diagnoses of talent acquisition challenges and opportunities
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to ensure exceptional talent acquisition service to maintain attraction and retention of quality candidates.

What do I need?

  • Previous recruitment experience from an internal TA role in a large organisation, with a focus on hiring niche and specialist roles
  • Demonstrated capability to efficiently, and effectively, deliver a great candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Impeccable stakeholder management skills.
  • Sound understanding of end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments across a range of skillsets, from junior through to mid-level management roles
  • Proven IT conceptual ability; able to use technology systems and databases in support of the talent acquisition process; identify, refine and automate processes via technology wherever possible
  • A genuine desire and willingness to be involved in broader HR activities
