Job Description
- Oversee and manage waste administration processes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update records and databases related to waste management services.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and reporting.
- Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting for waste management activities.
- Respond to enquiries from stakeholders and provide accurate information promptly.
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Waste Administration & Finance Officer should have:
- Previous experience in administration and financial support, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
What's on Offer
- An hourly rate between AUD 45.00 and AUD 52.00.
