Be at the forefront of strategic growth in our Motoring & Home Services division.* Conducting research on major trends, analysing markets, and conducting competitor research to identify potential M&HS commercial opportunities* Leading the development of proof of concepts, prototypes and testing of potential products and services to determine future member, commercial and strategic value at an accelerated pace.* Management of products or services in the prototyping and testing phases of development, including development of pricing recommendation collaborating on the development of go to market strategies and the co-ordination of service delivery teams* Preparing detailed financial and business analysis on potential acquisition targets, including interrogation of financial statements, enterprise evaluation, assessing effectiveness of business operations and position within market.* Supporting due diligence activities, including verification of business information, conducting risk assessments and assessments of regulatory requirements and implications* Producing high-quality business cases, feasibility analysis, project scope, and project requirements documentation, project planning, and project delivery.* Developing and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, professional service providers and industry advisors.* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Innovation, or a similar field.* Extensive experience as an Analyst in business development with commercial expertise.* Experience across Mergers and Acquisitions is highly desirable.* Demonstrated experience in market scanning of external trends and intelligence analysis, effectively synthesizing business insights into commercial opportunities.* Demonstrated experience working with new product development processes, including exposure to human-centered design and/or agile innovation techniques.* Demonstrated experience establishing and working in small, multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial, and adaptive teams of internal and external resources.* A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empowered* Work in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeing* Professional career development and training* Free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Insurance, Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance and Auto Services* Be part of a purpose led organisation that gives back to the WA community* Opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering* A very active Social Club – join one of the most active social clubs in Perth with over 900 membersIf you are passionate about driving innovation and have a strong background in business development and analysis, we want to hear from you.
