The Role

CBH Group is seeking a commercially minded and strategic Analyst to join our Strategy & Sustainability team.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and business units to shape the future of Australia's largest grain cooperative.

You'll play a key role in supporting corporate strategy development & business unit plans, facilitating strategic planning forums, and identifying opportunities and risks that influence long-term success.

Location: Perth CBD offices

Responsibilities include:

• Support the development and refresh of corporate and business unit strategies including long-term planning, benchmarking, and competitor analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and present insights that inform key decisions
• Prepare financial models, conduct due diligence, and assess business opportunities to support investment and growth initiatives
• Lead smaller strategic projects and contribute to the delivery of larger, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets
• Enhance team effectiveness by contributing to the development of strategy tools, templates, and planning processes

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related field, with 1–2 years' experience in commercial professional services or corporate strategy and planning
• Strong capability in financial modelling, business case development, and evaluating commercial feasibility of projects
• Proven ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and the Board
• Project management experience and knowledge of commodity trading or supply chain operations are desirable
