The Role

CBH Group is seeking a commercially minded and strategic Analyst to join our Strategy & Sustainability team.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and business units to shape the future of Australia's largest grain cooperative.

You'll play a key role in supporting corporate strategy development & business unit plans, facilitating strategic planning forums, and identifying opportunities and risks that influence long-term success.

Location: Perth CBD offices

Responsibilities include:

Support the development and refresh of corporate and business unit strategies including long-term planning, benchmarking, and competitor analysisCollaborate with internal teams, senior leaders, and external stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and present insights that inform key decisionsPrepare financial models, conduct due diligence, and assess business opportunities to support investment and growth initiativesLead smaller strategic projects and contribute to the delivery of larger, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgetsEnhance team effectiveness by contributing to the development of strategy tools, templates, and planning processes

About You:

Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related field, with 1–2 years' experience in commercial professional services or corporate strategy and planningStrong capability in financial modelling, business case development, and evaluating commercial feasibility of projectsProven ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and the BoardProject management experience and knowledge of commodity trading or supply chain operations are desirable
