Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Video Producer to produce, shoot and edit video content for podcasts. From dressing and lighting sets to capturing video and audio, syncing and backing up raw footage, and collaborating with colleagues on editing, you’ll be hands‑on at every stage of production.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Producer to develop and refine production workflows and schedules, ensuring on time delivery of podcasts.

You’ll also help create distinctive, shareable content for digital platforms, identify opportunities for online engagement, and stay ahead of social media trends to reach new audiences. This is your chance to contribute to a creative, innovative culture and make content that truly reflects Australia’s diversity.

About You

You’re a creative storyteller with strong technical skills and a passion for digital content. You have experience in all aspects of video production, from working with cameras, microphones, lighting, and associated hardware tools of digital video production to working with content management systems, social media platforms and image/video editing software. You understand social media trends and analytics and use them to craft content that resonates.

You’re organised, collaborative, and comfortable working with multiple teams with diverse ideas. You bring fresh ideas, energy, and professionalism to everything you do. You live the ABC Values—aiming high, thinking differently, taking ownership, and delivering together—while fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.
