With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Wantirna South campus is seeking a Primary Art Assistant to provide general assistance to Primary Art Teachers, commencing immediately. This role is part time (FTE 0.364) over two days and is only required during school terms.

Some of the duties will include:

- Preparing for and cleaning up after activities
- Helping students in the classroom
- Sorting, stacking, displaying and mounting artwork
- Photocopying, laminating, photographing artwork
- Overseeing and collecting deliveries
- Being aware of students with special needs

You are an ideal candidate if you:

- Are highly motivated
- Have experience in handling arts materials and supporting students (desirable)
- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
- Are Health and Safety minded
- Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
- Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities

A Working with Children’s Check, and a Police Check less than three months old are mandatory prior to being hired. A First Aid Certificate (HLTAD011) is also required prior to starting in the role.
