The Role
The successful applicant will ideally display excellent curriculum knowledge in the Arts context of Media across Years 7 to 12 and display quality skills and experience in Media and Production. Desirable skills or experience that complement this position are also in Music and Digital Technologies.
Interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment are highly desirable. In addition, you will work closely with The Arts Head of Learning Area, team members, and students, to find opportunities to showcase work throughout the year. The successful applicant will ideally possess the professional knowledge, understandings, and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school Arts curriculum. As an expert practitioner you should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection.
The successful applicant will ideally develop a supportive and positive classroom environment and have proven skills in behaviour management and evidence-based pedagogy.
