Administration role at Icon Cancer Centre Australia in Brisbane. Medical Secretary – 9 Month Contract (Full-Time). Join the frontline of cancer care at Icon Cancer Centre Wesley and make a meaningful difference every day. You will be part of a warm, collaborative team of medical administrators and health professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Greeting patients and managing personal details
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating consulting rooms
- Handling phone enquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Processing billing (Medicare, Private Health, DVA)
- Ensuring smooth administrative care pathways for patients
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives
- Living and promoting Icon’s values every day

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in a medical/surgical specialist setting
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, and Private Health billing
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and medical terminology
- A passion for delivering outstanding service

9-Month Full-Time Contract – 76 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday clinic hours, with some evening shifts until 7:30pm. No weekend work. Based in the Wesley Precinct, Auchenflower.
