Immediate Start: Client Sales Executive

Overview
We are looking for a high‑energy, self‑motivated Client Sales Executive to work on exciting campaigns with some of Australia’s most respected industry leaders. This full‑time role offers a generous commission structure and combines remote work with in‑office presence.
Role
We seek a Client Sales Executive with relevant technical outbound and inbound sales experience, able to confidently communicate with C‑Level Executives, Learning & Development leaders, and senior executives across government and the private sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure delegate sales opportunities.
- Create value propositions aligned with the campaign briefing for each event, keeping up‑to‑date with industry and market conditions.
- Research and generate leads for campaign sales, building prospect lists using directories and industry‑specific sources.
- Liaise with prospective and existing delegates to assess needs and qualify leads.
- Sell campaign and attendance opportunities for events to meet KPIs and targets.
- Produce and distribute quotations/proposals to qualified prospects to secure sales.
- Negotiate terms, follow up on payments and close sales contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales figures, accounts, and paid invoices.
- Monitor changing delegate and industry needs, reporting insights to Sales Managers.
- Work independently and autonomously within the team environment.
- Continuously develop technical sales campaigns, collaborating with Production to reach the correct target audience and secure relevant attendance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum one year of strong, relevant experience in technical sales.
- Proven ability to be customer‑focused and communicate value propositions.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or at least five years of relevant experience.
- Strong commercial sales experience with a heavy focus on new business development within a short sales cycle.
- Ability to research and generate new prospects and leads.
- Excellent communication and ability to clearly articulate value propositions.
- Team player with a motivation for goals and targets.
- Background in technical sales, particularly outbound sales.
- Highly organized with strong time‑management and follow‑up skills.
- Negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills with experience quoting prices and credit terms.
- Self‑driven and able to report trends and take autonomous action.
