This is a permanent, full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight. This position is based in the Perth CBD.

Position Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to the position of Project Officer. The successful applicant will provide support to the EMHS Environmental Sustainability Unit to progress and achieve key deliverables and targets, undertake program planning for service reform, sustainability, and business improvement projects across the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS). Monitoring and reporting on program deliverables for relevant stakeholders within EMHS is also required. For more information, refer to the Job Description Form (JDF) attached.

Area Profile

The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that serves more than 670,000 Western Australians. The network provides tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services. The EMHS includes Royal Perth Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley Health Service; Kalamunda Hospital; St John of God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services.

- Knowledge of issues, trends, and practices relevant to sustainable health development, including an understanding of climate health risks and environmental sustainability programs and metrics.
