Job Overview

At Omaxe Homes, this role includes developing and refining architectural plans to meet client specifications for residential and commercial projects. The role involves creating detailed drawings using Revit, reviewing and updating plans based on client feedback, identifying errors in owner‑supplied documents, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting team members with drafting queries, and ensuring all work meets design, quality, and budget requirements within project timelines.

Responsibilities

- Develop and refine architectural plans to meet client specifications.

- Prepare and interpret sketches, charts, plans and designs for residential and commercial projects.

- Produce comprehensive working drawings using Revit software.

- Review owner‑supplied plans and details for inconsistencies or errors.

- Modify and update plans in response to client variations.

- Maintain accurate documentation and drawing registers.

- Assist other staff with drafting queries and provide technical support.

- Ensure design, specification and quality requirements are met within budget and timeframe.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant CAD software.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Solid understanding of local building codes and regulations (NCC/BCA).

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Relevant qualifications in Drafting or Building Design.

- A proactive and motivated approach to work.

- A history of long tenure in previous roles is highly regarded.
