We are partnering with reputable geotechnical consultancy. With an expanding team in Geelong, they are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable Civil 3D Drafter to join their vibrating problem-solving team.

**The company**:
Our client is a well-established proficient Geotechnical consultancy, with 4 Offices located across Australia comprising of 200 professionals. For over 20+ years they have provided specialised design and investigation services within various sectors which include mining, civil, infrastructure, tunnelling and dams.

**The Opportunity**
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that gets excited and loves the challenge of being the "problem solver" for their clients and finding solutions. Working within a dynamic expanding team who are specialised the niche technical areas which include but not limited to slope, tunnel and station design, working from the Geelong office with views of the city, this position offers flexible arrangements with an attractive annual salary, plus superannuation and bonuses.

**Key responsibilities will include**
- Drafting support and follow-up for engineers and geologists
- Prepare technical drawings ensuring high quality outputs
- Assist with other 2D and 3D modelling / BIM software such as Rhino, Vulcan, Global mapper
- Assist in report preparation as necessary
- Assist in other technical and administrative duties as required

**To be considered for the role**
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a Digital Engineering or Draftsperson role
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D - Advanced Civil 3D skills highly desirable
- Work independently with minimum supervision whilst be able to work in a team environment
- Able to identify critical issues
- Prioritise multiple tasks and keeps to schedules while dealing with interruptions and challenges as they arise and meet deadlines at short notice
- Engineering consultancy experience preferred
- Maintain both internal and external client confidentiality
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional customer service, including dealing with internal and external clients
- Demonstrates advanced skills in AutoCAD and / or Civil3D
- Demonstrates proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Skills in Rhino or other 3D package, Vulcan, MapInfo, Globalmapper Ver13 or other GIS packages as well as Photoshop and / or Illustrator would also be beneficial

**Relevant qualification is advantageous**
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design
- Diploma of Building Design + Civil / Structural drafting work experience
- Associate Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering (Design Drafting)
- Cert IV in Engineering Drafting + Civil / Structural drafting work experience
