Overview

Are you ready to take ownership of cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical operations across the globe? We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimise secure, scalable, and highly available cloud systems. This is a permanent role based in Brisbane with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

What You’ll Do

- Automate AWS infrastructure and optimise CI/CD workflows
- Implement and maintain secure coding practices, conduct vulnerability scans, and apply threat mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot and optimise network performance using diagnostic tools and protocol analysis.
- Design and manage high-availability solutions, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability tools (e.g. Datadog).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates using AWS CloudFormation templates.
- Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of experience automating infrastructure deployment with AWS CloudFormation.
- Understanding of secure coding, vulnerability scanning, and threat mitigation.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
