Join our team as a Gardener - Handyperson and contribute to fostering a positive learning environment. As a key member, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the school grounds, ensuring they are safe, tidy, and conducive to a positive environment for both students and staff. From overseeing the turf areas, garden beds and shrubs to managing hard landscaping features like courts and paving, you'll play a vital role in creating an inviting and inspiring outdoor space.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives when working independently and enjoys maintaining and improving outdoor and indoor spaces. The successful candidate will be required to perform general gardening duties, identify and complete jobs proactively and competently, perform minor maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with the Department’s policies and guidelines.
The successful applicant will ideally display effective communication skills, be well‑organised, self‑motivated and reliable with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with staff and external contractors.
