Position Description

We are Fonterra, one of the world's largest dairy nutrition companies. Here in Australia, we collect milk from Aussie Farmers across Victoria and Tasmania, and our manufacturing sites turn this into the dairy foods you know and love in our supermarkets, including Perfect Italiano™, Mainland™, Western Star™, and Bega™. We also sell dairy ingredients to many of the world's leading food companies and partner with food services businesses across the country to get dairy foods into chefs' hands.

As a Co‑operative created and owned by New Zealand dairy farmers, our collaboration, innovation, and passion have enabled us to share the goodness of our dairy with the world. We're committed to caring for the land, our animals, and every drop of milk, producing nutritious food with safe, quality ingredients loved here in Australia and around the world.

As part of the Fonterra Co‑op, you'll be solving for a better future alongside a team connected by solid values as we strive to be a leader in dairy sustainability, dairy innovation and science, with a focus on New Zealand milk.

When you join Fonterra, you'll open yourself to a career of opportunities where you can grow with us by developing your skills, sharing your knowledge, and exploring diverse career paths that ignite your passions.

About us

Fonterra Oceania is a fully integrated trans‑Tasman business, culminating Fonterra Brands New Zealand (FBNZ) and Fonterra Australia. As one strong team, we’re focused on creating scale, driving synergies, and delivering great dairy products to consumers across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond. With a shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, performance and customer centricity, our Oceania business competes with impact across local and global markets. This role joins a team that’s helping shape the future of dairy in the region – one that’s agile, ambitious, and deeply connected to our communities and customers.

About the role

Join a dynamic team at the heart of Fonterra Oceania’s People & Culture function, where you’ll drive data excellence and enable strategic decision‑making across Oceania and SEA regions. Reporting to the GM People Solutions, P&C Global Markets you will:

- Ensure accurate, secure, and compliant data handling practices, including data quality assurance, accessibility, and regulatory adherence

- Develop and maintain standardised and ad hoc reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for decision‑making

- Conduct advanced data analyses to generate insights that drive strategy while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and policies

- Partner and oversee the maintenance, optimisation, and integration of data management systems to enhance operational efficiency and performance

- Foster continuous improvement in data‑related services, consistently delivering reliable support and value to stakeholders

About You

You’re a hands‑on analyst with a passion for people data, systems, and reporting, ready to engage senior stakeholders and drive continuous improvement. With a strong background in HRIS and data analytics, you thrive in fast‑paced, complex environments and are eager to make a real impact. In addition to this you will bring:

- 5+ years’ experience in HR systems, data management, and reporting, ideally within global FMCG or complex industries

- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis; proven ability to deliver high‑quality, actionable reports

- Expertise in HRIS platforms (SuccessFactors, ServiceNow) and a track record of leading system upgrades and audits

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to partner across regions and functions

- The ability to balance competing priorities while diving process improvements and service excellence in a tech‑savvy, action‑oriented manner

Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?

At Fonterra, we are committed to building a diverse workplace and, therefore, open to looking at applicants with excellent transferable skills. If that’s you, we encourage you to apply as you may be the right candidate for this role or one of our other opportunities.

Our people and what they bring to our Co‑op shape our success. We have a collaborative culture, inspiring leaders, and passionate people, making Fonterra a great place to work. We also offer competitive remuneration and a range of benefits, regardless of your role or location.

Fonterra is a place where everyone can be themselves, feel empowered to do their best, and are empowered to create goodness for generations.

Sound good to you? Come and join us, and let's solve for better, together. You, me, us together.
