We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join our Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) project for a FIFO position to Karratha.

DBHF is a wharf structure being built to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier. The project requires the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, the construction a new land backed wharf and land redevelopment.

The position is on a 20:8 rotation to site in Karratha.

We require an experienced QHSE Manager with a background in large construction, Civil or Wharf projects to join our team.

Your focus will include:

- Implementing the culture to achieving Zero Harm Health, Safety and Environment (including security and technical integrity) framework through the company standards, systems/processes.
- Presenting Environment strategies and plans, results and incident reviews to Project management teams.
- Delivery of Environment results from project wide audit program and provide reports and reviews on incident and HSE performance across the project.
- Ensuring behaviours required, training and engagement in, and the ongoing coaching and accountability support for leaders in achieving the zero-harm culture.
- Advise and support management and staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
- Provide HSE training and support to employees at all levels.
- Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare and submit regular QHSE reports to senior management.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the company’s environmental management system.
- Stay updated on the latest HSE legislation and best practices.

What you will bring to the team:

- Proven experience (7+ years) as a QHSE Manager in construction, or related industries.
- Degree / Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management.
- Ability to influence and drive a safety culture across all levels of the organisation
- Experience in the construction, commissioning and operation of onshore / near shore marine or similar projects.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills
