Our client is a highly regarded civil contracting business with a strong presence in Western Australia's north-west. Privately owned and locally operated, they are a preferred contractor to Main Roads WA, Development WA, local councils, and major mining companies. About the Position:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a residential basis in Karratha. Working Monday to Friday on local civil projects, you will lead land development, road construction, and earthworks projects from planning through to completion. This is a permanent role offering stability, excellent remuneration, and housing support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and deliver civil infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Lead and coordinate site delivery teams and subcontractors.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Provide technical input and guidance across project stages.
  • Prepare and present regular progress and cost reports.
  • Ensure construction adheres to design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers and site staff.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (minimum requirement).
  • 6+ years' experience as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
  • Proven success in delivering civil projects such as roadworks, land development, and bulk earthworks.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing projects valued between $10–20 million+.
  • Stable career history with civil contractors in WA or similar markets.
  • Current Australian C Class driver's licence.
