We are looking for aLending Specialist to provide phone-based support and assistance to our customers with all their lending enquiries and applications. You’ll work individually but also as part of a wider team, where you will be supported by your peers and leaders.The key to your success will be placing a high importance on assessing and supporting the customer's individual needs, adding value to their experience, and maintaining exceptional levels of customer service.

What you will be doing

- Assists customers and prospective members with all home loan and lending enquiries across multiple channels
- Record and manage sales pipeline activity and actively follow up on future opportunities and referrals
- Preparation, ordering valuations and completing credit checks as well as funding credits and unsecured overdrafts
- Support the Contact Centre Lending team to achieve Lending Sales, Service and operational outcomes
- Actively cross-sell products and services and undertake retention activities for customers across the portfolio of products
- Monitor, analyse and report on key business metrics for the team
- Deliver a high level of service to members through inbound and outbound call handling

What you will bring

- Demonstrated end-to-end lending and sales experience
- Solid understanding of lending and credit principles
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a fast-moving lending pipeline
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a customer-centric attitude
