Overview

Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1980. The College operates over multiple campuses: Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. A Senior Campus for Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in Vermont South, a Junior Campus for K to Year 6 in Vermont South (1.8 km from the Senior Campus), a Year 9 Campus in Vermont (1.4 km from the Senior Campus) and a VET Campus in Burwood.

Position

Applications are invited from passionate, value-driven and dedicated teachers for the Social Justice Coordinator role, commencing 27 January 2026. The Social Justice Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Education in Faith to lead and coordinate the Social Justice program. This role is key to fostering a strong sense of purpose and responsibility within the school community by integrating faith, education, and action. The successful applicant will drive student and community engagement in awareness and fundraising initiatives, collaborating with student leaders and committees.

Role Type

The successful candidate will be appointed to Emmaus College as a teacher in an ongoing capacity. The leadership role will be for an initial period of three years. The successful applicant will be committed to the ethos of a Catholic school.
