Shape Perth’s Story – Lead Marketing and Communications for the City of Perth Perth is a city with ambition. We are seeking a bold and strategic senior leader to take on the pivotal role of Alliance Manager, Marketing and Communications. About the Role
This is not just another leadership role — it’s about defining how Perth is seen, heard, and experienced. You will lead a high-impact portfolio at the heart of the City, reporting to the General Manager on Engagement and Activation, and guiding a talented team across marketing, media, digital, and corporate communications. Your work will directly influence the way Perth connects with its residents, businesses, visitors, and the world.

Responsibilities

- What you will deliver:
- Strategic Marketing & Brand: Lead bold, creative campaigns that showcase Perth’s story and strengthen its destination identity.
- Multi-Channel Communications: Shape clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across digital, social, media, and crisis communications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders, partners, and community stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Inspire a collaborative, high-performing team to deliver measurable results.

About You

You are an experienced leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and influence. You bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- Executive-level experience in integrated marketing, brand, and communications.
- Proven success in destination marketing, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- A track record of leading high-performing teams to deliver innovative, data-driven outcomes.
