About the Role

Make a real difference in the lives of children and young people in out-of-home care by joining our Karratha, WA team as a Full-Time Therapeutic Youth Worker
In this rewarding role, you’ll work 8 hour shifts scheduled according to the specific needs of each house, delivering trauma-informed support that helps build resilience, encourages independence, and empowers young people to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Supporting young people with daily routines, personal care, and activities

- Building positive relationships based on trust and respect

- Creating safe, structured therapeutic environments

- Responding calmly to challenges and behavioural needs

- Collaborating on individualised care plans

What You’ll Bring:

- Full Australian Driver’s License, First Aid and CPR Certificate

- NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check

- Relevant qualifications, work or lived experience

- Empathy, resilience, and a solutions-focused mindset

- Ability to work full-time, including a mix of before school and after school hours
