THE ROLE

No two days at work will be the same at NOVA Entertainment. Within our fun and dynamic environment, on any given day you will be working closely with our People Leaders to support the delivery of their people plans by providing expert guidance, providing employee relations advice and support.

Reporting to the Head of People Experience, you will be a crucial player in partnering with all levels of the business to provide HR support nationwide.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor with a strong background in managing employee relations, understanding legislative framework and how it is applied in practice. This is a diverse role with the opportunity to support and develop teams day to day whilst leading and contributing to rewarding projects. You have a passion for people, the ability to influence, coach and build relationships and enjoy working collaboratively and proactively. Skills Required

- Providing coaching to develop people leaders to build both our business and our people

- Advising leaders on performance management, capability development, recruitment & remuneration, Employee Relations, dispute resolution and employee engagement

- Leading cyclical HR experiences such as performance check-ins, engagement surveys and remuneration review

- Partnering with the business to develop and implement HR plans and national projects that create value to the business and drive employee engagement

- Providing mentoring and guidance on complex HR matters

- Partnering with our Talent and Acquisition Coordinator to provide advice and guidance to select and recruit key positions.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong organisational and time‑management skills with sharp attention to detail

- Proven HR Advisor experience and tertiary qualifications in HR or related field

- Expertise in interpreting Modern Awards and employment legislation

- Commercial acumen and broad HR generalist knowledge

- Ability to coach and influence leaders, build high‑performing teams, and manage change

- Employee Relations: Skilled in performance management, grievance handling, and investigations

- Employee Engagement: Experience in surveys, data analysis, and action planning

- Talent & Performance Management: Succession planning, KPI setting, and career development

- Change Management: Stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and adoption strategies

- HR Systems: Proficient in HRIS, compliance, and process improvement

- Recruitment Advisory: Partner with hiring managers to provide strategic advice on sourcing, selection, and workforce planning

- Analytical and strategic thinking with strong communication and influencing skills
