Job Description

Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team

The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in South West Sydney.

We are seeking people with a passion to give back in their community of South West Sydney by visiting an elderly lady living in her own home. Our client would simply like to meet a fellow Polish or Ukrainian speaking person. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of the clients cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care VolunteerVisitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established topromote links between elderly people and volunteers in their localcommunity.
