Kew, Australia Cullen Jewellery Full time

Founded by Jordan Cullen in 2018, Cullen Jewellery is a responsible fine jewellery brand focused on exceptional human experiences. As a digital-first business, we blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, using the best materials to create timeless pieces.

We’re committed to the environment, crafting every piece with sustainability in mind. Our lab grown diamonds are 100% carbon neutral, and we invest in replanting landscapes and supporting communities globally.

About The Role:

At Cullen, creativity isn’t just about beautiful design, it’s how we express unreasonable care and connect meaningfully with people. As our Creative Director, you’ll lead the creative vision that brings our purpose to life, ensuring every campaign, story, and experience reflects who we are and why we exist.

This is a role for a creative leader who combines artistic excellence with commercial impact. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, you’ll guide a talented team of creatives and collaborate across Marketing, Product, and e-Commerce to craft compelling, cohesive storytelling that strengthens brand desirability and positions Cullen as a global leader in fine jewellery.

What You'll Do:

- Define and champion Cullen’s creative direction and brand expression across every touchpoint.

- Translate strategic goals into bold, distinctive creative strategies that elevate brand awareness and inspire engagement.

- Lead ideation and execution for major campaigns, product launches, and brand moments across digital, social, retail, and experiential channels.

- Collaborate closely with the Head of Brand & Marketing and broader marketing team to deliver integrated, high-performing campaigns.

- Partner with Product Design and e-Commerce teams to ensure a seamless brand experience from concept to customer journey.

- Oversee the creative process end-to-end — from briefing through to delivery — maintaining quality, timeliness, and budget discipline.

- Evolve Cullen’s visual and verbal identity system, ensuring consistency and innovation.

- Inspire, mentor, and develop a diverse creative team, fostering a culture of curiosity, inclusivity, and accountability.

- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and production partners to extend creative capability.

- Stay ahead of cultural, digital, and design trends, translating insights into forward-thinking brand ideas.

What You'll Bring:

- Proven experience in a senior creative leadership role (e.g. Creative Director, Senior Art Director, or equivalent) within a fashion, jewellery, luxury, or premium lifestyle brand.

- A standout portfolio showcasing integrated campaigns and strong visual storytelling.

- Deep understanding of creative strategy, brand building, and audience engagement in a digital-first environment.

- Ability to balance creative excellence with commercial objectives.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at all levels.

- Proficiency across modern creative processes and digital content production.

- Organised, collaborative, and agile — able to lead multiple projects with precision and impact.

- The right to work in Australia.

What we offer:

In addition to a competitive remuneration package, and the ability to work in a beautiful office location in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we offer all our team members with a range of benefits including:

- A supportive and collaborative work environment;

- An Employee Assistance Program for you and a family member to utilise;

- Generous staff and family / friend discounts;

- Team events and initiatives included as part of our wellbeing program;

- Paid volunteer leave, and sponsorship of a child in South East Asia/Africa under your name;

- The opportunity to join a growing company with a global presence - you really can take your career anywhere
