NEC is currently seeking to appoint a Corporate Communications Specialist, based between our sites in Melbourne CBD as well as our Mulgrave head office. Working within a talented and focussed team, we are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, passionate about what they do and who is seeking to develop a long term career in a dynamic and innovative global organisation.
The role of Corporate Communications Specialist will be responsible for executing internal communications programmes and content development and distribution services for multiple purposes. Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Content development and distribution for internal and external communications purposes including CEO and staff communication, newsletters, internal announcement emails, intranet postings and homepage content, PPT presentations, social media, media communications etc.
2. Develop and execute core internal communications programmes.
3. Provide internal communications change management advice and support in order to support strategic business initiatives.
4. Design and develop content for internal projects across various business units.
5. Write and distribute newsletters and other communications for the channel business.
6. Contribute to the corporate blogging programs and support the corporate social media communications strategy.
7. Maintain general information sections of the company website.
8. Ensure the consistency of communications distributed across the business.
To succeed in this pivotal role, you will need exceptional writing skills, a tertiary qualification in marketing / communications or a related discipline as well as a strong professional background within a similar role ideally within the ICT industry as well as demonstrable experience:
1. Strong knowledge of ICT solutions and services.
2. Advanced level of editing and writing skills.
3. Relevant internal communications planning & change management experience highly desirable.
4. Minimum 5 years experience in a communications related role (eg. journalism).
5. Experience with managing social media accounts.
6. Must be highly competent with all MS Office programs excellent PPT skills.
7. Able to work independently, self-motivated and conscientious.
