Responsibilities

- Implement engaging early childhood learning programmes tailored to individual developmental needs.

- Take part in ongoing professional development and uphold the highest standards of child safety and education.

- Plan, implement, and evaluate learning programmes that foster a love for lifelong learning among children and their families.

- Ensure the safety and well‑being of children by adhering to Child Safe Standards and managing developmental records and other administrative tasks.

- Support the Centre Director in daily operations and maintain open communication with families regarding children’s progress.

- Provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

- Work permanently full‑time at our Umina Centre.

- Balance your life with a 9‑day fortnight.

Qualifications and Attributes

- University level qualification in Early Childhood Education.

- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR and Child Protection.

- Strong leadership and organisational skills with a focus on customer service.

- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with children, families and stakeholders.

Salary and Progression

The commencing salary for this position is up to $76.9k per annum. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $89.1k per annum on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation.
